Leagl Aid Clinic

The Legal Aid Clinic was established in the year 2016 at Baba Kundan Singh Memorial Law College under the directions of the Legal Service Authority. The clinic serves the purpose of providing free legal aid to the poor and the needy people. This process serves society by providing free legal aid to the people who wouldn’t have resources for taking the services of a lawyer and at the same time help the students in polishing their skills and knowledge.

  • Assisting in Resolution of Disputes.
  • Rendering advice for prevention of disputes
  • Instant advice and information on legal aspects
  • Assist the poor litigants in drafting, typing and presentation of miscellaneous applications
  • Assisting the poor litigants in making oral quarries from the offices of Court, if any.
  • Monitoring the follow up actions in the matters in which legal assistance has been provided.
  • Encouraging amicable settlement of disputes through Lok Adalat and Mediation.
  • Settling the disputes through counselling in order to avoid litigation.

  • Victims of Mass Disaster.

  • Persons whose annual income does not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/-
