BABA KUNDAN SINGH MEMORIAL LAW COLLEGE

Our Library

The library of any academic institution is essential to all scholarly endeavours, especially in law schools. This is a 200 square metre edifice that offers substantial capacity for book storage and a cosy reading environment. The library has been designed in alignment with the goals of the law college and is managed by a team of professionally qualified library personnel. It possesses a substantial collection of law books encompassing a diverse array of general and specialised subjects, including textbooks, reference materials, back volumes of journals and reports, in addition to current legal publications. The library operates from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on all weekdays. The college has implemented a tool termed the Electronic Library for bookkeeping and information retrieval. The establishment now possesses a high-speed broadband internet connection and an annual subscription to Lexis Advance Online, granting access to law journals, AIR, Supreme Court judgements, High Court judgements, subordinate court judgements, and various legal matters. Consequently, it facilitates seamless access to information from all available computerised databases globally, encompassing not only legal fields but also other disciplines. The library intends to implement a computerised system to create a network of law libraries across India and to construct a national legal information centre that would serve as a repository of legal information.
